Comments:   Exalted Dirt is looking for some live musicians who would like to fill out our small group. We will be doing some modern CCM/worship songs, sometimes in a hard-edged rock/metal fashion, as well as some of my own original classic-styled progressive power metal, all for the glory of the Lord Jesus. I live in Orrville, OH, but we've been going out to Karen's house in Stow. Depending on how many join us, we might have to abandon her little basement karaoke bar in favour of a larger place. I am a guitarist and lead/backing vocalist, and two ladies who are long-time friends of mine are lead and backing vocalists. As it is now, we are singing and playing to some thumping techno accompaniment tracks I programmed and arranged, which we used once at a local event I planned last summer. We could use a bassist, drummer, perhaps another strong male lead vocalist, a keyboard player, and perhaps another guitarist to join us. Last year I faced many problems attempting to keep a fully live sound for the group, and I gave up on the whole thing. Musicians wouldn't show up for key practice dates, and one would often come unprepared. Then my bass player, who seemed most excited about being in the group, quit. Around that time, I called an old friend of mine named Karen and asked her if she would like to play some music from the days we shared the platform at an old church we used to attend. It quickly evolved from a simple acoustic set to a full-blown concert sound with the tracks I made. She invited Jennifer, another friend from those days, to join us as a vocalist. Around September I felt God was telling me it's time to begin taking the music out on the road a little. I don't plan on us being a touring group, but that might change, of course. I shared with the ladies that I'd like to do a few more concerts than just the single annual planned event I mentioned above. They are all in! So, who else would like to join us?
